We are more than an event. We’re a MOVEMENT FOR JOURNALISM. An annual gathering of journalists & editors from globally-renowned media, organized by the International Press Institute (IPI).

This year’s IPI World Congress was moved online for the first time in our 70 year history, but we hope to be back in real life in New York next year. We’re working with our hosts at Columbia University to set the dates for September 2021, so stay tuned here for any updates.

Founder
Damaso is the founder of Clarify.Media and has been a journalist for more than twenty years. His work has been published by The New York Times, The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Der Spiegel . Previous assignments and projects have taken him to countries including Rwanda, Cuba, Indonesia, Tanzania and throughout the United States and Europe.

In addition to being a 2008 Fulbright Specialist, Damaso is the recipient of several fellowships including an Arthur F. Burns Fellowship; a 2012 Knight-Luce fellowship in global reporting; a 2013 French American Foundation fellowship for immigration reporting and a 2015 Holbrooke Fellowship from the International Center for Journalists.
