We’re postponing the IPI World Congress until 2021 - still in New York, still back where we started in 1950 at Columbia University.
This September, join our series of virtual Congress sessions connecting the global network of journalists and editors worldwide. Have an idea for a session? Let us know!
Contact International Press Institute (IPI) for more details.

Overseas Press Club Foundation

The Overseas Press Club Foundation, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity, is the nation’s top non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging students at American colleges and universities to become international journalists. Each year we recognize promising journalism students and support them with scholarships and fellowships. Last year, 12 of our winners received fellowships that enabled them to spend months in bureaus of major media organizations in Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Singapore, Namibia, Brussels, Mexico City, Paris, New Delhi and Beirut. The OPC Foundation works with organizations around the globe to promote press freedom and journalist safety. It is the sister organization to the Overseas Press Club of America, which was founded in 1939 in New York City by a group of foreign correspondents as an international association of journalists working in the United States and abroad to encourage the highest standards of professional integrity and skill in the reporting of news.
